The art of divination is probably as old as mankind itself. Since ancient times, there has been a desire to know more than what our eyes can see. To know the hidden reasons behind certain events, to ask advice from powers more knowledgeable than ourselves and to catch a glimpse of what lies ahead of us.

Methods to consult with the gods and spirits and to translate their messages into understandable information vary from time to time and from tradition to tradition. Bones, runes, dice, weather, animal intestines, fire, cards, sticks... you name it. All kinds of external phenomena and tools are known to be read to get more insight in our daily lifes, struggles, health and fate.
