Ready made amulet cord, to easily turn your favorite dzi bead or amulet into a necklace. Just string the bead or amulet on the thin strands of cord in the center of this necklace, attach it there with a good knot, cut the rest of the thin strands short and melt the cut ends with a flame (from a lighter or similar) to protect them from fraying.
This amulet cord has been made with beautiful Mother of Pearl beads, with a color varying from creamy white to beige and here and there a bit pink-orange. The beads have a beautiful pearly shine and the natural material and organic shapes make each bead unique in its appearance.
The beads have all been individually knotted on light brown nylon macrame cord. In total 80 + 1 Mother of Pearl beads with a size of approximately 7-8 millimeters diameter have been used.
Total length of the necklace is approximately 64 centimeters (measured without the approximately 20 centimeters long cord ends), weight is 42 grams.
