In traditional shamanism, bells are used for many purposes, because they can serve as houses for spirits and their sound represents the voice of those spirits.
These beautiful, antique bells were taken from an old belt from a Mongolian shaman. On both sides of these bells a Chinese character can be seen. The exact meaning of this character is unfortunately unknown to us.
These bells are quite big and heavy. They can be used as ritual attributes in itself, be used as protective amulets or for that purpose be sewn on your ritual costume or attributes.
These bells are approximately 60 millimeters long (measured without the eyelet) end 48 millimeters wide.They weigh between 80 - 90 grams each. They are made of bronze, which has been covered with a beautiful dark patina over time. Due to their age and previous usage, of course some little 'imperfections' might be there.
