Antique wooden phurba from Nepal. Artisan handcarved and with some minor imperfections and damages due to its age and previous usage, but overall still in very good condition and with a beautiful dark and glossy patina.
Design characteristics:
Pommel: a three-faced Vajrakilaya, with three different facial expressions; joyful, wrathful and peaceful. Handle: a vajra (dorje) symbol in between some shrivatsa (endless knot) variations . Blade: intertwined naga's facing upwards.
This antique phurba is quite a big one; it has a length of 39 centimeters and weighs 244 grams.
