Copper pendants depicting the face of Erlik Khan, Lord of the Underworld and great Judge of the Death in Turkic cosmology.
In traditional Siberian shamanism, such as the lineage of Spirit of Wolf Shamans, Erlik Khan is mostly worked with in black shamanic work. Also the red copper material of which these pendants have been made can be linked with this kind of work; in traditional shamanism, red copper is associated with the Underworld Sun.
These pendants have been recently made and come to us via our friends at Shaman Bazar. There are two available, with a similar face but different color of the metal. Sold per piece, you can choose your favorite one via the selection-menu:
#1; red copper color, 11 grams, has a twisted metal wire for an eyelet.
#2; color more dark silver-grey (but also made of copper), 13 grams, has a metal ring for an eyelet.
Both are 74 millimeters high and 53 millimeters wide.
