Vintage Tibetan phoenix eye bodhi mala bracelet

Vintage Tibetan mala bracelet made with a specific kind of bodhi seeds known as 'phoenix eye bodhi', referring to the eye-shaped pattern on each bead.

The phoenix eye bodhi seeds are considered the 'wisest' of all bodhi seeds and represent the embodiment of boddhicita (enlightenment). They have the ability to enhance one's individual wisdom.

Each bead used in this mala bracelet is approximately 12x9 millimeters. They are strung on yellow macrame cord, which closes beneath the guru bead with a sliding knot, making this bracelet adjustable between approximately 20 - 24 centimeters.

This bracelet is from vintage origin and might therefore show some signs of its age and previous usage, but overall it is in good condition.
