Rattle made with the hide from a goat. This hide is acquired as scrap material from an artisan drum maker.
The rattle is filled with organic buckwheat, giving it a nice heavy feel and sound.
The wood for this rattle comes from a pine tree, growing on the sandy heaths of the Veluwe.
The rattle is decorated with a colorful braid, made from 6 strands of somewhat glossy acrylic wool in autumn-colors. During the braiding, only the best of intentions and blessings were put in.
Total length of this rattle is 28 centimeters. It weighs 67 grams.
