Horse hair crafting set

Crafting set consisting of black horse hair (both mane and tail hair), roughly divided into bundles based on the length of the hair. Great to use in all kinds of ritual crafting purposes, for example in amulets or ritual attributes.

For an idea of the size; on pictures 2 and 4 a ruler (with a scale in centimeters) has been photographed alongside the bundles.

In many traditions, the spirit of the Horse is considered a very important and powerful one. Its symbolism and spiritual-energetic dynamics vary from tradition to tradition and from practitioner to practitioner, but some can be found all over the globe. For example, think about the Horse's ability as a guide; just like we can travel on the back of a horse in the physical world, exactly like this we can also travel with the Horse spirit in the non-physical realms. It has the power and ability to guide us through all worlds there. In traditional shamanism the shaman's drum is often called his 'horse'; he rides his drum like a horse into the other worlds.

In traditional shamanism the Horse is also considered to be a very strong protector against malignant forces. The evil spirits are said to dislike, and even be scared away by the smell of the (physical) horse's skin, hair and sweat. For this reason, material associated with the horse, such as its hair and even parts of its equipment (like rings from its saddlery) are used in many ritual attributes, tools and amulets.
