Rattle made with rawhide from a horse, acquired as scrap material from an artisan drum maker. The hide used for this rattle is from a grey horse; white with some grey and brown streaks in it.
The rattle is constructed with a leg bone from a dutch red deer as handle. It isfilled with organic lentils, giving it a nice heavy feel and sound.
The rattle is decorated with a braid, made with 9 strands of cotton cord in grey and white colors. During the braiding, only the best of intentions and blessings were put in.
Total length of this rattle is 27 centimeters. It weighs 95 grams.
