Rattle made with rawhide from a horse, acquired as scrap material from an artisan drum maker. The hide used for this rattle is from a grey horse; white with some grey and brown streaks in it.
The rattle is constructed with a leg bone from a dutch roe deer as handle. It isfilled with organic lentils, giving it a nice heavy feel and sound.
The rattle is decorated with a braid, made with 9 strands of cotton cord in green, yellow and red colors. During the braiding, only the best of intentions and blessings were put in.
Total length of this rattle is 21 centimeters. It weighs 62 grams.
