Set of vintage Tibetan mala counters. Counters can be attached to a mala, to use as extra assistance in keeping track of the number of mantra- or prayer recitations.
These counters are made with soft, light brown yak leather cords on which some gold painted alpaca metal beads and pendants (of a bell with dorje) have been strung. The pendants are 22 millimeters wide. Total length of each counter is approximately 10 centimeters. Weight is approximately 11 grams per counter.
As can be seen on the pictures, the decoration of the pendants is not of particularly high quality, but of course they will do the work nevertheless.
Sold per set of two counters. From vintage origin, but overall in good condition. Only one set available.
