Old Nepalese bell chain, known as 'ghanta mala' (bell mala). A bell chain such as this one is an intricate part of the attire of traditional Nepalese shamans.
This iron chain carries a total of 15 bells made of iron and brass. Being all handmade, they vary slightly in appearance and size with an individual diameter between 38 - 45 millimeters. Total length of the chain is approximately 105 centimeters, which can be reduced a bit with the metal hook on the chain. Total weight is 695 grams.
