Recently made natural stone bead with the depiction of a phoenix. This bead has a nice, warm orange-brown color and is in good condition. The bead has been made in the traditional Tibetan tubular bead style which can often be seen in dzi beads. But given that the depiction on this bead is not a traditional dzi bead pattern, we prefer to not call this a 'dzi bead'. It is however a very nice bead.
This is a large size bead; 98 millimeters long and 23 millimeters wide. Weight is 67 grams. A bead in such a big size might not be very practical as an everyday personal amulet to wear around your neck, but it will for example make a great piece to attach to your ritual clothing or attributes or as an altarpiece. And of course, with the well-known and popular symbolism of the phoenix associated with transformation and rebirth, a bead such as can be a great supporting item during your meditation practices.
