Bronze phurba from Nepal. Recently made. As can be seen on the pictures, the depictions on this phurba aren't especially high in quality. But of course it's ready to do the work nevertheless.
Design characteristics:
Pommel: a three-faced Vajrakilaya, with three different facial expressions; joyful, wrathful and peaceful.
Handle: the symbol of a vajra (dorje) in between some variations of the shrivatsa (endless knot) symbol.
Blade: intertwined naga's facing upwards. The blade is held by an abstract representation of the mythical watermonster Makara.
This phurba is a relatively small one, with a length of 13 centimeters and a weight of 71 grams.
