Red deer hide and pine wood rattle

Rattle made with the hide from a red deer. This hide is acquired as scrap material from an artisan drum maker.

The rattle is filled with organic buckwheat, giving it a nice heavy feel and sound.

For this rattle a unique piece of natural curved wood from a pine tree, growing on the sandy heath lands of the Veluwe, has been used.

The rattle is decorated with a purple-red-pink colored woolen cord and vintage wooden beads. 

This rattle weighs 90 grams.
