Beautiful pressed-stone figurines to adorn for example your tea ceremony.
Shi Gan Dan, as the characters on the figurine says, means "stone that dares to resist". Traditionally, Shi Gan Dan were placed in front of entrances, gates and bridges to deter evil spirits and malevolent influences. The face of the stone is an image of the Heavenly Lion, here in the West more commonly known as Foo Dog, the guardian that stands (mostly in pairs of two, a male and a female) at the entrance of your local Asian temple or restaurant.
Little Shi Gan Dans such as these can be a nice addition to your ritual space or attend tea ceremonies to guard the atmosphere.
