In Tibetan Buddhism, the conch shell is considered one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols. It symbolizes how the fame of the Dharma spreads in all directions, awakening all beings from ignorance. It represents the power of right and truthful speech, spoken with a fearless and far-reaching voice.

Also the shape of the white conch, with its right turning spiral, symbolizes the harmony of natural law and cosmic rhythm. It reminds practitioners to be alert, mindful, and dedicated to the path of enlightenment — echoing the deep call of compassion and inner awakening

These keychains here in our shop are made with real conch shells (sankha) in very nicely detailed Tibetan silver settings, decorated with (faux) coral and turquoise cabochons. Of course the keychain-rings can also be taken off, to use the conch shells as pendants for jewelry or amulets.

There are four conch shells available, sold per piece. You can choose your favorite one via the selection-menu (numbered from left to right on the overview picture):

#1; approximately 78 millimeters long and 36 grams.
#2; approximately 77 millimeters long and 35 grams. Please note that this one has a (natural occurring) crack in the shell, near the flower decoration. This is a stabile crack, the shell is not fragile because of it.
#3; approximately 78 millimeters long and 37 grams.
#4; approximately 73 millimeters long and 30 grams. This one doesn't have a flower-applique.
