Traditional Tibetan style door curtain. Curtains like this can be found in many entrances to buildings and temples in Tibet, Nepal and India.

On this curtain the symbol of the Endless Knot is patched. It is one of the eight so called ‘Auspicious Symbols’ that can be found in Buddhism and Hinduism. The endless knot symbolizes many things from the important teachings of the Buddha. To name only a few: the union and interaction between here and now and eternity, between compassion and wisdom, between religious doctrine and secular life. It symbolizes principles like karma, reincarnation, enlightenment, transformation, harmony and the eternal cycle of birth, death and rebirth.

This door curtain can be used in the traditional way by hanging it in the entrance to your house or practice, but can of course also be used as a wall-hanger or room divider. On the top are three loops for hanging it.

Sizes; 183 centimeters length, 92 centimeters width.

Only one available.
