Very nice Tibetan incense burner in a 'stove' model.

Incense burners in this model are used by taking off the lid, and placing the incense sticks or cones directly on top of the waved metal sheet inside the stove, or on a fine layer of sand or rice. And then placing the lid back on, so the smoke floats through the beautifully decorated lid.

This incense stove is made from an alloy of metals, mostly red copper and brass, colorfully decorated with an inlay of (faux) turquoise and coral pieces.

On the sides the eight Tibetan Auspicious symbols can be seen, and the small deer figurines on top of the lid remind us of the buddhist stories about how the deer gathered to listen to the teachings of the Buddha in Deer Park.

Sizes: approximately 19 centimeters long, 7,5 centimeters wide and 10 centimeters high (measured including the decorational figurines on top of the lid).

Only one available.
