Since ancient times, symbols of good fortune have been established in the iconography of Hinduism and Buddhism. The group of eight symbols known in Tibetan Buddhism as the "Eight Auspicious Symbols" is considered one of the oldest. This group consists of: the Pair of Golden Fish, the Precious Parasol, the Vase of Treasures, the Lotus Flower, the Conch Shell, the Infinite Knot, the Wheel of Dharma, and the Banner of Victory.

The symbols can be found on for example statues, paintings, jewelry, amulets, furniture, textiles and home decorations. The symbols are used both seperately and as a group.

This Tibetan wallhanger is made from colorful brocade and shows all eight symbols. It is approximately 95 centimeters long and 18 centimeters wide. It will make a beautiful piece on the wall of your altar space, practice room or living room.
