Vintage necklace from Nepal, made with handmade quartz crystal beads in so called 'melon'-shape. The beads are all handmade and thus vary slightly in shape, size and design. As can be seen on the pictures, they also vary in quality; some are more clear, some more milky and some have natural occurring cracks or inclusions, or are slightly damaged.
The beads are strung on brown cotton cord, but this is not in really good condition anymore; it might be best to re-string the beads before using it as a necklace again. Or of course to use the beads in all kinds of other crafting or jewelry design projects.
Specifications; the necklace consists of 19 crystal quartz beads, varying in size between 15 - 23 millimeters length and 7 -8 millimeters in diameter, with a 1 millimeter hole. All of them measured together, in the way they are strung now (measured only the beads, without the cotton cord), they have a total length of 39,5 centimeter. Total weight is 105 grams.
