Strand of beautiful and quite large copal beads. Copal is semi-fossilized resin, which is often used as a less expensive alternative for amber. This strand comes from Nepal and is from vintage origin (approximately 1970's-1980's).

The beads are strung on a cord of braided cotton threads. The cord can of course be tied together with a simple knot, to use this strand as a necklace. Or the beads can be taken off to use in all your personal crafting purposes.

The strand has a total of 30 copal beads with a diameter of approximately 2,5 centimeters (measured the width. Their hight varies between 1,5-2 centimeters). The row of 30 beads measured together, how they are strung now, is approximately 45 centimeters long. Measured together with the cord on both sides, the total lenght is approximately 89 centimeters.
