Vintage Nepalese mask made from black horn. A rare and authentique piece of artisan Himalayan craftmanship
With special techniques the horn has first been flattened and then molded into the shape of the face. Further facial features have been handcarved.
Please look closely at the pictures to observe the condition of this item. Unfortunately on both sides there are some damages. Masks like this, which consist of only a thin layer of horn, are of course quite fragile, especially during transport. Therefore the price for this mask is a little bit lower than usual.
But once it is safely installed on the walls of your practice room or altar space, it will of course still make a great and unique house for one of your spirits.
