Vintage Nepalese amulet necklace featuring a wild boar tusk. The necklace has been made in a traditional way, where the necklace has been partially inserted into the tusk, after which it is secured with a mixture of clay and glue and a simple fabric wrap.
Please look careful at the pictures to observe the condition of this item; this necklace is from vintage origin and shows the signs of its age, most noteable of which is that the boar tusk unfortunately has been cracked. Therefore the price for this item has of course been reduced accordingly.
The beads used in the necklace are in vintage, but overall good condition. They are made of a milky white (snow) quartz and have all been carefully individually knotted onto the green nylon macrame cord. The beads are approximately 7 millimeters in length and 3-4 millimeters in diameter.
Total length of the necklace, measured without the boar tusk, is approximately 50 centimeters. The boar tusk is approximately 9,5 centimeters long.
