Very nice vintage Nepalese pendant made with a large wild boar tusk set into a Tibetan silver setting.
As can be seen on the pictures, the tusk has had some lengthwise cracks, which have been restored and stabilized. The relatively heavy weight tells that the (naturally hollow and thereby fragile) tusk has been thoroughly strengthened by pouring in a good filling, turning it into a now very solid piece.
Although being from vintage origin and showing some signs of its age, this pendant is a good piece of work and will make a beautiful amulet to connect you with the powerful spirit of Wild Boar.
Sizes; approximately 18 centimeters long, measured going along with the outside curve, or 14 centimeters long, measured going along with the inside curve. Weight is 70 grams.
