Beautiful Tibetan double-layered storage container. Containers such as these are mostly used to store incense in.
This container is made with different metals, mostly red copper and brass. It is decorated with depictions of the Tibetan Eight Auspicious Symbols and Buddha figurines and handcarved/handpoked decorations in the brass girdles and even on the bottom. The lid has been decorated with (faux) inlay of turquoise stones, from which one has unfortunately been lost over time.
As can be seen on the pictures, this container has a double layer in it, making it possible to store different kinds of incense (or other products) in separate divisions.
This container is from vintage origin and therefore might have some little damages and imperfections due to its age and previous usage.
A very nice item to store your incense or other ritual items in.
