Vintage Tibetan yak bone necklace #3

Vintage Tibetan necklace made with yak bone beads/pendants on black macrame cord. 

The 10 beads/pendants (length of these is approximately 3,5-4 centimeters), are engraved with the symbol for the (mantra)word "Aum", written in Tibetan language. This symbol and its sound, when spoken as an individual seed mantra or as part of a bigger mantra is said to be the all encompassing cosmic vibration of the universe. It represents all times, all awareness of times and the overtaking of time itself. When recited, it activates and energizes all the chakra's.

Exact age unknown, probably not very old, but has been worn before and because of that and the 100% natural origin of the beads, of course some little damages and imperfections can be seen.

The cord closes with a sliding knot, so can be adjusted to fit your personal favorite length.
