Very nice wooden figurine of a Marwari horse, a rare horse breed from the Indian Marwar region. The Marwari horse descends from a long line of war- and cavalry horses, going back to the early 13th century. They are also highly venerated for dressage and jumping and as ceremonial show horses. A typical feature are the inwards-curled ears.
This figurine has been handmade, painted and decorated in the Rajasthan region and will be an eyecatching piece in your practice or living room. Or maybe even as a spirit house for a special kind of Horse spirit.
