Small wooden spirit masks from Nepal.
These masks are from vintage origin (made in the 1980's). They were brought to Europe by a collector of Himalayan tribal art in the 1990's and have been in his private collection ever since. The masks have thus not yet been used as active spirit houses before and are therefore a perfect neutral base to offer to your personal spirit helpers.
These smaller sized wooden spirit masks are for example a very good size to use as a spirit house for your drum spirit (especially on traditional Siberian style shamanic drums this can often be seen; on the backside, at the top of the handle, a carved wooden face serves as house for the spirit of the drum). And of course they can also be attached to all kinds of other ritual attributes, or placed on your altar or hung on the wall above it.
Please note that there are no eyelets or other mounting materials already attached to the masks, but this can of course be easily done yourself to make them usable for your exact purpose.
There are four masks available. Sold per piece. Numbered from upper left to lower right on the overview picture:
#1; approximately 12,5 centimeters high and 8,5 centimeters wide.
#2; approximately 10 centimeters high and 7 centimeters wide.
#3; approximately 11 centimeters high and 7,5 centimeters wide.
#4; approximately 12 centimeters high and 8 centimeters wide.
