These beautiful, handcarved wooden cups are an exquisit example of traditional Balkan folk art. They are made somewhere around the 1970's-1980's in former Yugoslavia. Cups like this are used during wedding ceremonies; bride and groom drink from the same cup, symbolizing how from now on they will share everything.

Very nice items to use during performance of wedding ceremonies or handfasting rituals, especially of course when (one of) the partners-to-be has ancestral roots in Balkan regions.

Three cups available:

#1; approximately 15,5 centimeters long, 9 centimeters high and 6 centimeters wide.
#2; approximately 14 centimeters long, 10,5 centimeters high and 5,6 centimeters wide.
#3; approximately 13 centimeters long, 10,5 centimeters high and 5,8 centimeters wide.

Sold per piece, choose your favorite one via the selection-menu.
