Rattle made with rawhide from a wild boar, acquired as scrap material from an artisan drum maker. The hide used for this rattle is a nice, rough piece in which the roots from the boar's hair can be seen and felt.
The rattle is constructed with a leg bone from a dutch red deer as handle. It isfilled with organic buckwheat, giving it a nice heavy feel and sound.
The rattle is decorated with a braid, made with 9 strands of cotton in a mix of violet, pink, green and yellow colors.During the braiding, only the best of intentions and blessings were put in.
Total length of this rattle is 23 centimeters. It weighs 69 grams.
