Rattle made with rawhide from a wild boar, acquired as scrap material from an artisan drum maker. The hide used for this rattle was the final piece from this rawhide and probably not the most beautiful part; this piece of hide has a bit of a yellow color and some stretch marks in it. But it wanted to become a rattle nevertheless, and has its own very distinct character because of it. The colors of the braid, 9 strands of pink and yellow cotton, have been chosen specifically to complement the dynamics of the rattle; this one is meant to work with themes around selflove, selfcare and heart-healing.
The rattle is constructed with a leg bone from a dutch roe deer as handle. It isfilled with organic buckwheat, giving it a nice heavy feel and sound.
Total length of this rattle is 19 centimeters. It weighs 59 grams.
