Rattle made with rawhide from a wild boar, acquired as scrap material from an artisan drum maker. The hide used for this rattle is a nice, rough piece in which the roots from the boar's hair can be seen and felt.
The rattle is constructed with a leg bone from a dutch red deer as handle. It isfilled with organic buckwheat, giving it a nice heavy feel and sound.
The rattle is decorated with a braid, made with 9 strands of cotton in pastel-like light blue and grey colors.During the braiding, only the best of intentions and blessings were put in.
Total length of this rattle is 21 centimeters. It weighs 98 grams.
