Amulet necklaces made with big wild boar fangs from the lower jaw, also known as the wild boar's 'weapons'.
These fangs are from vintage origin. For many decades they had been glued to wooden trophy shields, used as wall decorations in houses, cabins and bars. Then, after more decades of gathering dust in a big box on the attic of a collector, they ended up in the secondhand circuit and from there finally found their way to Chyltys Kam.
At that point, the teeth were in severely damaged condition; damages, splits, cracks etc. These once formidable weapons were one step away from being thrown away as merely trash.
They have been restored as good as possible; they were cleaned and polished, where necessary fillings have been replaced or supplemented, cracks and splits have been glued, holes filled up. Of course the old damages can still be seen, but being reinforced now they aren't that fragile anymore and ready for a 3rd life as amulets, connecting you with the strength and protective powers of the spirit of Wild Boar.
The tusks are made into simple necklaces with a black waxcord, which closes with a simple knot, so it can easily be adjusted to your personal length.
Please look closely at the pictures to observe the condition of the individual teeth. To be as transparent as possible about the damages; in the detail pictures they have been photographed from their 'worst' side; the side where the damages can best be seen. So the other side of the tusks will be in a little bit better condition. Of course feel free to ask for more detailed pictures of the tusk you're interested in, if you want to see more details.
